Implemented Works
The system encompasses territory of north-eastern part of Ararat lowland including mountains, gorges, hills and slopes. The beginning of the water pipe starts from Geghard reservoir. The main pipeline consists of steel and glass (GRP) pipeline of 500mm diameter, with a total length of 13.3 kilometers. An air cylinder is installed in the water pipe, and air absorbing correspondent armature.
In the beginning of the water pipe 2 systemս of water intake is installed.
Results
The result of the works is transition from mechanical irrigation system to gravity irrigation type in horticulture company and reservation complex of 4 communities of Kotayk region: Geghadirm Hatsavan, Voghjaberd, Goght and Jrvezh-Dzoraghbyur.
